Joel Eriksson is a 24-year-old professional racing driver from Tomelilla, Skåne. In 2023, he is the official test and reserve driver for Jaguar TCS Racing i ABB FIA Formula E World Championship (Formula E), the world's largest electric car racing championship.

Eriksson has lined up great successes in international junior racing, including a victory in the grand race Masters of Formula 3 in 2016 and a second place overall in the European Championship for Formula 3 the following year. He has also qualified 1st and taken silver in the Formula 3 World Championship on the streets of Macau, China, and won double Swedish Championship gold in karting.

Joel Eriksson competed during 2018-2019 in the toughest touring car championship DTM for BMW. In the 2018 season, he became the second youngest ever to win a DTM race.
